Dr. Ellora Nanda – Ex-Major, Army Medical Corps, Indian Armed Forces
Dr. Ellora is a highly experienced doctor with a distinguished background in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) As a former Major in the Army Medical Corps of the Indian Armed Forces, he has had the privilege of serving the nation and gaining invaluable experience in critical care.
In 1999, Dr. Nanda served alongside forward troops in Jammu and Kashmir during the Kargil War, providing crucial medical support in challenging conditions. His dedication continued in 2001, when he was deployed to Ratnal village in Gujarat after the devastating earthquake on 26th January. As part of the Army Medical Corps team, he played a vital role in delivering emergency medical aid to the earthquake victims.
Dr. Nanda further honed his leadership skills as the Head of Emergency Services and Urgent Care at Moolchand Hospital in South Delhi from 2007 to 2012. where Dr. Nanda contributed to the hospital’s high standards of emergency & Critical care.
In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Nanda has pursued advanced education in quality standards, having completed a certificate course in NABH standards and participated in the Internal Counsellor Program on NABH standards conducted by the Quality Council of India.
Dr. Nanda is a certified instructor by the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). He is also a certified provider of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
With a strong passion for Emergency Medicine, Dr. Nanda is dedicated to advancing safe practices in emergency medical care and raising awareness among the public. His clinical focus remains on providing life-saving emergency care in both peace and disaster conditions, prioritizing the safety and well-being of patients.
