Brief Profile:Dr. Kochhar is a highly skilled surgeon specializing in Minimal Access Surgery (MAS) and Bariatric Surgery. With nearly 35 years of experience, Dr. Kapil has more than 100,000 Surgeries (both open and laparoscopic) to his credit. He honed his laparoscopic skills by doing observerships at:

Besides working with the top corporate hospitals in Delhi & NCR like Fortis , Max and Artemis in past, he has conducted minimally invasive surgeries at remote places all over India thereby spreading the awareness about these surgeries all over the country. From Imphal in Manipur to places like Dhanbad, Jharia, Pilibhit , Bareilly, Rewari, Dehradun etc.
He has conducted laparoscopic surgery camps in Malawi, Nigeria, Afghanistan and very recently Congo. - Instrumental in establishing the first IVF centre in Kabul, Afghanistan by providing them support for laparoscopic surgery. Also started basic laparoscopic general surgery at Wahaaj Hospital, Kabul, Afghanistan in multiple visits from October 2010 to March 2011
