He is currently working as a senior consultant and Unit head in the Dept. of Gastroenterology, Artemis Hospital, Gurugram, India. He has done all his training from prestigious, Govt. Hospitals of India. Proficient in managing all gastrointestinal emergencies like gastrointestinal bleeding, acute pancreatitis, acute cholangitis, acute liver failure, acute on chronic liver failure, acute severe ulcerative colitis, foreign body removal.
He has done his MBBS from SCB medical college, Odisha & MD from Dr RML Hospital, New Delhi. He has also worked as a Senior Resident Medicine in Lady Hardinge Medical College and Safdurjung Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Bimal is a DM (Gastroenterology) from G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi. His past working experiences include GB Pant Hospital New Delhi, Fortis Hospital, Apollo Hospital and Medanta Hospital. Dr Sahu has done his advanced endoscopy training from renowned West China Hospital , Sichuan university, China, under the guidance of Prof Bing Hu.
